Photographs from MotoGP

My goal as a photographer is capturing a moment that will tell the story. I attempt to capture that moment from a different perspective, be that playing with time or position. I love the challenge of making a Formula 1 car look like it is moving at speed, or capturing the exact moment when a MotoGP rider is in perfect balance.

Photography has always been part of my life, growing up I spent hours in my fathers dark room watching images magically appear on paper in the developing tray. I studied Fine Art at Rhodes University and was inspired by Obie Oberholtzer's ability to paint with light and his obsessive drive and determination to capture an image.
